Additionally, the field is growing. While actual local growth may vary, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects nationwide employment of web developers and digital designers to grow 8% from 2023 to 2033, faster than the average for all occupations.

In addition to good design sense, what else do web designers need to be proficient in?

Along with an eye for design, web designers benefit from being proficient in the following skills:

1Program is 3 semesters, assuming enrollment in 11-14 credit hours per semester. Minimum time to complete: 12 months, assuming continuous year-round enrollment (3 semesters per 12-month period). Normal time to complete: 1 year, 4 months, assuming enrollment in 2 semesters per 12-month period.
