Abu-Ghallous earned a BA in business administration from Bethlehem University in Palestine, an MBA from Lewis University in Romeoville, and a Ph.D. in international development with emphasis on international economic development from the University of Southern Mississippi. Abu-Ghallous has 10+ years of work experience in corporate accounting, finance and financial systems development.

Location: Greater New York City Area

A senior professor at DeVry University for 20+ years, Addeo brings with him two decades of professional experience in the field of electrical engineering and computer science, held executive director positions at Panasonic and Bellcore, has 10 patents in the wireless communication field and has co-authored more than 100 technical talks.

Michael Bird, Ph.D.

Industry Experience: Information Systems, Information Technology
Location: Riverview, Florida

Bird has been with DeVry University for more than 15 years and earned his Ph.D. from Capella University in Minneapolis. Prior to joining DeVry University, he had worked at Carnival Cruise Lines for 17 years as a systems configuration manager for information systems along with managing system development projects. His professional experiences also include many facets of information technology, business intelligence, project management, and recruitment of human resources. He had published eight books and is currently a managing editor for the DeVry Journal of Scholarly Research in addition to being a senior professor.

Bob Biswas, Ph.D.

Location: Lincoln, California

Biswas is a professor and faculty chair at DeVry University/Keller Graduate School of Management, where he teaches finance, accounting, economics, human resource management and other business courses, as well as the graduate and undergraduate Capstone courses. In addition, he has authored and co-authored many articles in accounting and finance applied to human resource management.

Gina Cooper, Ph.D.

Location: Columbus, Ohio

A professor at DeVry for close to two decades, Cooper brings her expertise in the field of mechanical and industrial engineering as well as computer science and engineering with specializations of database, math, and bioinformatics. Since joining DeVry, her instructional area of focus is information systems.

Carol Dietrich, Ph.D.

Industry Experience: Ethics, Humanities
Location: Columbus, Ohio

For 30+ years, Dietrich has taught composition, literature, humanities, sociology, and ethics. She has published articles in scholarly books and journals, including College English, Mosaic: A Journal for the Interdisciplinary Study of Literature; Desires, Delights, and Dilemmas: Women and the Media; Encyclopedia of American Race Riots; Encyclopedia of the Gilded Age and Progressive Era and various other publications. Additionally, in 2019, Dietrich received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award.

Jeevan D’Souza, Ph.D.

D’Souza moved to the United States in 2001 to obtain a master’s degree in electrical engineering. For his thesis, he built one of the first-generation fitness tracking devices with many of the same features commonly offered on such devices today. He’s always dreamed of being a professor, and is a member of many industry organizations such as the ASEE and IEEE.

Finlay is an entrepreneur in international ocean transportation with experience in hospitality management, the food and beverage industry and the healthcare industry. She joined DeVry in 2010 teaching courses in global supply chain management, strategic planning and entrepreneurship.

Gooch has been a professor at DeVry for 20+ years, and in addition to teaching has served as dean of general education, associate dean of liberal arts and sciences, and acting dean of academic affairs. Gooch teaches a wide variety of courses at both the graduate and undergraduate level in the areas of liberal arts and business.

Her professional background is in education and international business in additional to numerous community leadership and service to non-profits. She teaches in the areas of business, leadership, marketing and critical thinking.

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Jordan is a life-long educator and Certified Management Consultant (CMC) specializing in student centered teaching for business, industry and higher education. Currently, Jordan has more than 25 years of teaching experience at DeVry University, where he teaches both undergraduate and graduate students including five Study Abroad courses. In addition, since 1979, he has conducted professional seminars and workshops throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.

Location: San Francisco, California

Kohara has an undergraduate degree in engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from San Francisco State University. He has been a full-time faculty member since 2002 and has also served in several managerial roles during this time. He teaches in the College of Business and Management.

Michael Komos, Ed.D.

Location: San Diego, California

Komos has been with DeVry University and Keller Graduate School of Management for close to two decades. He has been teaching full time since 2011, where he brings his expertise to courses such as human resource management, training and development, strategic staffing, leadership and organizational behavior, and the MBA capstone. Prior to his role as a senior professor and professor, Komos was the academic operations manager, associate dean of academic affairs, and assistant national dean at DeVry. He brings 25 plus years of human resource expertise from his previous company, Exelon Corporation.

Lamour is an experienced senior professor skilled in network architecture, routing and switching, cloud computing, network security, e-learning, and instructional design. Lamour holds a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) ISACA certification, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification and is a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI).

Obeid is a professor and national faculty chair at DeVry University, where he teaches courses in tech core and management information systems. As a national faculty chair, he is responsible for managing and developing the faculty assigned to teach, conducting program assessments, and development and maintaining curricula.

Michael Reitzel, Ph.D., J.D.

Location:  Austin, Texas

In roles as executive vice president, vice president of strategic development, and chief strategy officer, Reitzel brings 30+ years of knowledge and experience to his courses. He holds J.D. and Ph.D. degrees and currently serves as a senior professor for our College of Business programs in Austin, Texas.

Reitzel has been appointed to the prestigious Fulbright Specialist Roster for both his experience and passion to serve students. This accolade was also earned through his decades of leadership, management and product development experience with tech-based product companies.

Russell Wallace is a full-time professor who has served as a faculty chair of the college of business and management at DeVry University and the Keller Graduate School of Management in Philadelphia, Pa. Additionally, she served on the board of trustees at Princeton University, and on the Philadelphia chapter board of the American Marketing Association.

Sapijaszko brings two decades of professional experience in the field of electrical engineering, electronics, computer programming, web development, networking, and physics. In addition to enhancing the student experience in the classroom, she has served as a mentor to FIRST robotics competitions, IEEExtreme competitions and MyWord (Women in STEM).
