Jonathan Agresta, M.Ed., is a professor at DeVry University where he teaches courses in critical thinking and problem solving, responsive Web design, and emerging media technologies in the College of Media Arts & Technology. His extensive background in online technologies from working in publishing and online marketing creates a learning environment rooted in industry and educational experience.
 
Agresta joined DeVry in 2009 as an assistant professor, and in 2013, he became a full professor. As the Faculty Chair of Student Success for DeVry’s Northeast Region since 2016, Agresta oversees the Academic Success Centers, tutoring, the learning commons and student success initiatives. He also created and launched DeVryTutors.com, a national tutoring program connecting graduate and undergraduate students with peer, professional, and faculty tutors across America.
 
Prior to joining DeVry, Agresta taught Web design and interactive media at The Art Institute of Houston, computer information systems at Elms College in Chicopee, Mass., and computer science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.   
 
Agresta is on track to earn his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in educational leadership and administration from Rowan University in 2019. He also holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree of education from the University of Massachusetts.
