Title: Professor, Medical Billing and Coding
Teaches: Medical billing and coding courses, tutoring, and mentoring sessions
Gina’s approach to teaching: “I’m teaching every night, 7 days a week, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Why? Because that's when my students are available.”
Bio: Gina, known to many of her students as Professor A, has nearly 30 years of professional experience in education, including as the former dean and vice president at a community college. She has been teaching at DeVry for the past 15 years in addition to serving as a cohort pilot project liaison and speaker at the DeVry faculty symposium.
Title: Professor, Medical Coding and Health Information Systems
Teaches: Medical coding
Dr. Cranney’s approach to teaching: “I design interactive tools like crossword puzzles, escape rooms, and games to teach medical coding — because learning should be active, not stressful.”
Bio: Dr. Cranney has nearly 30 years of professional educator experience and holds a doctorate in Health Sciences. As a first-generation college graduate, Dr. Cranney built her career by following her curiosity, starting in finance, and later discovered her passion for healthcare through hands-on experience in clinics and surgery centers.

Teaches: Networking, cloud computing, programming, operating systems, and graduate-level courses
Richard’s approach to teaching: “I built my own AI machine because I wanted to understand it, not just read about it. That’s how I teach too — hands-on, passionate, real.”
Bio: Richard has been teaching at DeVry for over 20 years. He brings more than 30 years of industry experience to his classroom, including experience leading IT for a multinational company. Richard is also a mentor at DeVry Advantage Academy, a robotics club leader, and more. He holds a telecommunications degree from DeVry’s Keller Graduate School of Management.

Teaches: Business technology and leadership courses
Dr. Jones’ approach to teaching: “I build trust with my students so they feel safe making mistakes. That’s how real learning happens.”
Bio: A DeVry alumna (Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems, 1986), Ellen has been teaching at DeVry for nearly 30 years. She began her career as a systems analyst and currently teaches business technology and leadership courses. Ellen is also a certified scuba diver and once gave a college speech in full scuba gear.

Teaches: Undergraduate and graduate cyber security and cloud computing courses
Dr. Lamour's approach to teaching: “We start from where you are, and we meet you where you are, and we can individualize the curriculum to your particular needs to get you to where you need to be."
Bio: Jude has been teaching at DeVry for more than 20 years after working as a Wall Street technology manager. He holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional Certification as well as other cyber security and cloud technologies credentials.

Teaches: MBA courses, business capstone, leadership, organizational behavior, and simulations (CAPSIM)
Dr. Moore’s approach to teaching: “My 2 rules: 1. Always communicate with me. 2. Stress is not allowed in my class. If you follow Rule #1, Rule #2 takes care of itself."
Bio: Dr. Moore has been teaching at DeVry for 12 years and has nearly 25 years of professional educator experience. He’s a former athlete, motivational speaker, course developer, and fitness instructor. He holds a doctorate from Touro University.

Teaches: Biomedical engineering, business analytics, analog and digital logic, statistics, and more
Dr. Muqri’s approach to teaching: "I don't just teach the material; I'm a counselor, mentor, and guide through life's toughest moments."
Bio: With nearly 25 years of teaching experience at DeVry, Dr. Muqri brings a wealth of industry knowledge. Before joining academia, he was an engineer at Northrop Grumman and a researcher at the University of Illinois, Chicago. His professional expertise spans artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, and medical research.

Teaches: Critical thinking, leadership, management, and human resource courses
Dr. Wayerski's approach to teaching: “My job isn’t just to teach — it’s to listen, support, and guide. I’m here to help students believe they can do this.”
Bio: With more than 30 years of professional experience in education and business, Linda has been teaching at DeVry since 2007. Her background spans leadership, human resource management, consultancy, mentorship, and teaching. She holds a doctorate in Organizational Leadership, SHRM-CP, and 3 master's degrees in business, public administration, and human resource management.

Dr. Wilborn’s approach to teaching: “I open assignments early. I extend deadlines. I create step-by-step videos. If you’re struggling, I’ve got you.”
Bio: Dr. Wilborn has nearly 30 years of teaching experience at DeVry. He is a former programming manager and a proud U.S. Army veteran. Dr. Wilborn is also a DeVry and Keller Graduate School of Management alumnus. He holds a bachelor’s, 5 master’s, and a doctorate degree. He often uses Biggie lyrics, late-night tutoring, and personalized videos to help students feel seen, supported, and confident.
