Media Arts and Technology Bachelor's Degree and Certificates
Bachelor's Degree
- Multimedia Design and Development: Develop the skills needed to create Internet content, web pages, marketing collateral, advertising, instructional material and multimedia projects. Two specializations are also options for this bachelor’s degree – Graphic and Multimedia Design, and Web Design and Development.
Graphic and Multimedia Design Specialization: Develop a combination of artistic and coding skills that marketing departments, advertising agencies and animation studios often seek.
Web Design and Development Specialization: Explore ways to integrate multimedia including video, sound, animation, text and customized database information to create seamless web experiences.
Undergraduate Certificates
- Website Design: This 10-course curriculum focuses on applying design and coding concepts and skills to real-world applications. Learn fundamental software applications, graphic design, web design, and web animation skills in this online certificate program.
- Website Development: This online certificate program, you can prepare to pursue a future in the web development field by learning coding and tech skills that help develop the user experience (UX) for responsive, interactive and data-driven websites.
All students enrolled in site-based programs will be required to take some coursework online and, for some programs and locations, a substantial portion of the program may be required to be completed online.
Adobe Certification
The knowledge and skills embedded in the Media Arts and Technology program curriculum provide students with a basis for taking external industry certification exams, including the Adobe® Certified Associate exams.
An Adobe1 Certified Associate (ACA) certification validates that you have basic, entry-level skills in digital communication, creation, and design using Adobe software.
