Bridge the Digital Skills Divide and Create a More Inclusive Workforce

An innovative new education opportunity from DeVry University and WTIA supports leaders to significantly shift their beliefs and behaviors around diversity, equity, and inclusion to help them transform their company’s culture from the top down.

Empower Your Leaders for Change

This eight-week, self-paced course stands out from other programs because it is uniquely designed to help executives and managers in charge of building, developing, and motivating diverse teams. The program combines the power of DeVry’s technology platform and vast online educational experience with course content from Washington Technology Industry Association’s (WTIA) Diversity Way-Maker ™ framework. This program helps administrative and operational leaders acquire DEI-focused competencies they can apply to their leadership approach and every aspect of business operations.

Guided by the Diversity Way-Maker™ Framework

The course champions the Diversity Way-Maker™ framework from the WTIA, guiding executives and managers to progress along a values-based DEI journey. It enables them to develop the self-awareness and mindset shifts necessary to effectively transform work environments that are inhospitable to equity and inclusivity, an all-too-common issue that contributes to the diverse tech talent gap.

Personalized Learning with Expert Guidance

Through a self-reconciliation of beliefs and personal core-values process, this course fosters a better understanding of the ways our personal values and biases hinder or fuel DEI progress. It also includes a mentorship component, where leaders can connect with DEI subject matter experts, get feedback on course submissions, and participate in mentor-moderated discussion threads. Learners can also connect with mentors in real-time via an online messaging system.
