Three DeVry University Campuses Ranked in Top 100 for Best Return on Investment by PayScale, Inc.

DeVry University is one of only two private-sector institutions to rank in top 100

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., May 03, 2013

Three DeVry University campuses ranked on the top 100 list of PayScale, Inc.’s annual College Return on Investment (ROI) Report. DeVry University’s North Brunswick, N.J. (74th); Westminster, Colo. (75th); and Columbus, Ohio (79th) campuses were each included among the top 100 out of 1,060 schools evaluated. This marks the first year private-sector universities have been included since the inception of the report.

Notable results of PayScale’s fourth annual report specific to DeVry University include:

  • DeVry University is one of only two private-sector institutions to rank in the top 100
  • DeVry University in North Brunswick is one of only four New Jersey institutions to rank in the top 100
  • DeVry University in Westminster is one of only two Colorado institutions to rank in the top 100
  • DeVry University in Columbus is one of only two Ohio institutions to rank in the top 100

“The PayScale ranking further confirms that DeVry University offers students a high-quality education that delivers a notable return on investment,” said David J. PayScale’s 2013 report examined the return on investment from 1,060 colleges and universities to determine the potential financial return of attending each school given the cost of tuition and the payoff in median lifetime earnings associated with each school. Colleges and universities were grouped into eight categories: Private Research Universities; Liberal Arts Schools; Arts, Music & Design Schools; Business Schools; Engineering Schools; Ivy League Schools; Private Schools; and Public Schools and then cross-analyzed through PayScale's 40 million career profiles.

Eight additional DeVry University campuses were listed in the report, including Chicago (114th); Pomona, Calif. (125th); Federal Way, Wash. (132nd); Irving, Texas (141st); Phoenix (170th); Kansas City, Mo. (311th); Miramar, Fla. (492nd); and Decatur, Ga. (544th).
