Naperville, Ill – Oct. 19, 2021 – Seven degree programs at DeVry University and its Keller Graduate School of Management were reaffirmed as accredited by Project Management Institute Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs (GAC). Specifically:
- Master of Project Management
- Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management
- Master of Information Systems Management with a concentration in Project Management
- Master of Network and Communications Management with a concentration in Project Management
- Bachelor of Science in Technical Management with a concentration in Project Management
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management
- Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Project Management
Degree programs that achieve GAC accreditation must demonstrate and meet the GAC’s rigorous global standards of accreditation, which include an assessment of each program’s objectives and outcomes, faculty and student evaluations, onsite and online resources, annual self-evaluation, and proof of continuous improvements in the area of project management education. Only 130 project management degree programs in 20 countries are accredited by GAC.[1] This accreditation ensures the quality of academic degree programs and their graduates in order to meet the standards of the rapidly growing field of project management.
Authorized Training Partner
This year, PMI also recognized DeVry University as an Authorized Training Partner (ATP), approved to offer Project Management Professional (PMP)â certification exam preparation, plus disciplined agile training. To earn the PMI Authorized Training Partner designation, a provider must meet rigorous standards for quality and effectiveness. It also means students receive PMI-approved and vetted instructors and high-quality PMI-developed course content. PMPâ certification prep courses can only be taught by professors who are valid PMPâ certification holders, which requires the successful completion the PMI Authorized Training Partner Train the Trainer – PMP Exam Prep® program.
