Renowned Local Jazz Musician Julie Slim Entertained Guests at DeVry University

Austin, Texas – Dec. 11, 2019 – DeVry University hosted a special evening event featuring renowned Lebanese-American jazz musician Julie Slim on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019, at its Austin location. She is known for infusing her multicultural and multilingual background into her music. Her international jazz repertoire entertained members of area businesses, as well as DeVry students, alumni, faculty and staff, who were in attendance.

The evening was sponsored by DeVry’s International Club. The university’s center in Austin, located at 316 W. 12th St., offers a collaborative educational environment for its students, including a large classroom, break out areas for student groups, a student lounge, and administrative offices with academic support services. The design and layout of the center features an open floor plan in the lobby and common areas with a view of the state capital.
