Robert Klapper

CEO, Zollege

Robert (Rob) Klapper is the CEO of Zollege, a leading vocational training firm serving underserved communities by offering high-value dental and medical assistant programs at over 100 locations. Zollege offers a hybrid learning experience consisting of online coursework, in-person lab training and externships.

Throughout his career, Klapper has worked in businesses that have made a difference in people’s lives. Prior to Zollege, Klapper was Empowered Education’s (EE) CEO, an education platform dedicated to improving lives by changing the approach to healthcare through a focus on wellness and sustainable habit change. 

Previously, Rob was CEO at Ashworth College and insurance.com, and held leadership roles at several mid and late-stage consumer businesses, including Charles Schwab, Colgate-Palmolive and 21st Century.

Klapper has served as a board member and strategic growth advisor to nonprofit and early-stage company CEOs in the education and financial services industries, including being an inaugural member of Junior Achievement’s Global Advisory Council.  

He earned his MBA with a concentration in marketing from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, and a bachelor’s degree from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa.
