DeVry University Appoints Dean of Second Tampa Location

DeVry University announced the appointment of Tampa resident Lynn Kohler as dean of its second Tampa location in east Tampa at 6700 Lakeview Center Drive. Kohler began her career with DeVry in 2003 as dean of the University's Keller Graduate School of Management in Orlando. Most recently, she served as dean of DeVry's first Tampa location, which opened in 1998. Prior to joining DeVry, Kohler served as part-time faculty at the University of Nevada, where she taught public speaking, and as director of marketing and admissions at Regis University

Previously, Kohler also owned and managed a marketing, advertising and public relations agency for 10 years. "Lynn is a valued leader at DeVry University," said Steve Brown, president, DeVry University/Central Florida. "We are confident she will continue to uphold the University's high standards and ensure that our students receive the excellent education they expect."

Kohler holds a bachelor of science degree in broadcast management from Arizona State University and a master of arts degree in communications studies from the University of Nevada.
