DeVry University opens in Jacksonville
DeVry University announced the opening of its newest Florida location in Jacksonville. The school offers associate, bachelor's and master's degree courses both onsite and online to accommodate students' work schedules. The new location has year-round programs that allow students to complete bachelor's degrees in three years or less and an associate degree in less than one and one-half years. The university also offers master's degree programs through its Keller Graduate School of Management.
DeVry University Appoints Jacksonville Center Dean
DeVry University announced the appointment of Catherine G. Nye, MA, to Center Dean of its Jacksonville location. Mrs. Nye is responsible for all center operations including recruitment of faculty and staff, and attracting and retaining the student population.
Nye brings over ten years experience to her new position, including six years with the University of Phoenix where she served as operations manager, academic counselor and admissions counselor. Nye holds a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences degree from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management degree from the University of Phoenix.
"Catherine's background in business operations, workforce recruitment and customer service will be of great benefit to DeVry as we develop our Jacksonville location," said Steve Brown, President for DeVry University locations in Central and North Florida. "In addition, her academic background will be fundamental to fostering a quality learning environment for our students."
