DeVry University Students Present Customized Training Simulator to Kansas City Credit Union

Published:04/20/2009 05:45 AM

Chief Information Officer Guy Russo and other executives of Community America Credit Union based in Kansas City, Mo., visited DeVry University's Irving campus on Tuesday, November 18 for the unveiling of a customized training simulation platform developed by DeVry University game and simulation programming students.

The Community America Training Simulation (CATS) is a virtual world developed to create a multi-user, Internet accessible 3D training environment that Community America will use to train tellers and new employees. Through CATS, trainees will experience simulated interactions with customers and cash handling scenarios. Trainees will be able to utilize the training simulations as many times as they need to in order to become comfortable with real-time transactions and cash handling. Today, the Credit Union is using the DeVry designed technology to train its employees.
