IT Hiring Goes Into Overdrive at U.S. Automaker

Rev your engines, Information Technology experts. A U.S. automaker has announced it will hire approximately 10,000 well-trained IT professionals within the next five years, and start doing as much as 90% of its IT work in-house.

Just another sign that strong technology skills can secure careers today, and in the future.

According to a premier online business news source, the U.S. automaker’s CEO seeks to update the company’s computer systems so that they more innovatively and efficiently meet global needs.

The first of the company’s anticipated four “innovation centers” will be based in Austin, Texas. There, IT experts will work to reduce operations costs and increase the level and speed at which innovative products and services are available to its customers.
