From professional organizations to honor societies, DeVry offers a wide range of activities and organizations in which students can participate. Most are planned by the student association or activity organization at each DeVry campus and some are started by students themselves such as a gamers' organization.
Professional organizations at DeVry may include IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), the leading organization for electronics technology professionals and students; AITP (Association of Information Technology Professionals), for those interested in information systems or IT careers; ISA (Instrument Society of America), for engineering and science professionals and students; and several professional fraternities. In addition, certain DeVry campuses offer curriculum-related organizations, such as computer and ham radio clubs.
Clubs and activities reflect students' interests and may change periodically. Students are encouraged to seek information on academic requirements for honor society membership. Questions concerning student activities can be addressed to the Student Services Office.
