About Health Information Technology (HIT)

The Health Information Technology (HIT) associate degree program offered online and at the Alpharetta, Chicago, Decatur, Houston, Irving, North Brunswick, and Pomona campuses is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM, U). CAHIIM requires separate review of each eligible program at each location. A location may not apply for accreditation review of a given program until the program is fully operational.
